astrophysicist / solar physicist.
i am currently a research fellow at the european space agency's estec facility in the netherlands. my research interests are focussed on solar filaments and eruptions, particularly investigating the mass and internal density structure.
i was previously employed at the university of oslo under the f-chroma project, working on the analysis and interpretation of high resolution solar flare hydrodynamic modelling, and i am producing a set of simulations for public use.
i completed a phd at university college london's department of space and climate physics, mullard space science laboratory (uk), joint with the max planck institute for solar system research (germany), on observations and simulations of dense, erupted filament plasma as it moves through the solar atmosphere.
